This week, we move a step closer to making Preloved Sports CIC mobile Commhnity Hub a reality.
We visited a company called J-Tech Vans near Selby with our mind set on viewing Ford Transit Customs but after spending a morning hopping in and out of vans, we soon realised that the interior space may not be suitable for a seating area and storage.
We have made the decision to purchase this Fiat Ducato MWB van. It is an old waterworks workshop van but the racking and crane can be sold on to fund other projects. The fuel economy is decent and despite having the odd mark here and there, we can transform this into an amazing community hub to get more people into fitness.
All being well, we pick up the van on Thursday and its first trip will be to Wales with our PopUp shop and donation point for Ultra X Wales (our amazing new partnership). Once we have returned, we have a company lined up to kit out the rear with a designated seating area and racking at the rear for our crates. It may not look pretty at the moment but keep following for updates.
