Refund and Returns Policy

Please Note: We noticed our Returns Policy was a templated version with missing information. We are currently working on a new Returns Policy which includes our Buy & Try scheme, Refunds, Returns and Exchanges. Currently, you can return an item with 21 days of purchase for a full refund. All we ask is you pay for the return postage.

Overview

As well as a returns policy, Preloved Sports CIC offers a Buy & Try service. Details of this service and our returns/refund policies are outlined below. Please read these careful before returning any items to us.

Buy & Try Service

Preloved Sports CIC understands how difficult it is to purchase sports items online, not knowing how they fit until you test them in a real-world environment. To help you make an informative decision, we offer a Buy & Try service to all of our customers.

  • From the date of ordering, you have 21 days to try your items in a real-world environment.
  • If you like the items, great.
  • If the items are not for you, then these can be returned to us for a refund or exchange. Details of how the returns and refunds can be found below.

Returning Items to Us

We encourage you to try the garments in a real-world environment, however, to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you purchased it from us. If you have tested the garments in a real-world environment, we request these are washed prior to returning them to us. If this causes you go over the 21 days, please drop us an email.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, gift cards, personal care items or downloadable software.

To initiate a return, you must email hello@prelovedsports.org.uk quoting your order number. We will advise you where your return is to be sent. Please note, you are required to pay for the return postage.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Refund Amount

You will receive a refund of the value of the product cost plus the postage you paid on your order. If you ordered several items and are returning one item, the refund will be product cost plus part of the postage fee. We do not refund the return postage unless we have made an error on the order.

Exchanges

If the item is not for you, we will happily exchange it for something of equal value.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
